Baljinder Kaur is an artist and children’s book illustrator who enjoys exploring and processing life through drawing. As a child of immigrants, she believes in the restorative power of visual storytelling and is interested in sharing and celebrating narratives from the Sikh Panjabi diaspora. After completing her BA in Graphic Design and Illustration, Baljinder is currently studying for her Masters in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art. Her work has been published by Mighty Khalsa, Penguin Random House and Saffron Press. Her upcoming children’s book “Kamal’s Kes” follows the journey of self-love, through a young girl’s relationship with body-hair.
